Does this sound like you?
You might be:
-
constantly worrying or overthinking
-
struggling with intrusive thoughts or OCD
-
feeling overwhelmed, stressed or emotionally exhausted
-
struggling with anger or finding your emotions difficult to manage
-
experiencing grief after losing someone you love
-
finding it difficult to talk about what's really going on
Many people I work with have been coping on their own for a long time before reaching out. You don't need to have everything figured out before asking for support.
How I can Help?
🧠 Anxiety & OCD
Anxiety can affect far more than your thoughts. It can influence your sleep, relationships, confidence, work and everyday decisions.
I can support you with anxiety, overthinking, intrusive thoughts, OCD, health anxiety and the ways these difficulties can affect your life.

👨 Men's Mental Health & Anger
You don't have to be comfortable talking about your feelings to benefit from counselling.
Perhaps you're becoming more irritable, losing your temper, feeling constantly stressed or finding that your anger is affecting your relationships.
Maybe you keep everything to yourself until it eventually comes out as anger.
Together, we can explore what's underneath the anger, understand your triggers and develop healthier ways of responding.

💜 Grief & Bereavement
Grief doesn't follow a timetable.
Whether your loss was recent or happened years ago, you may find yourself struggling with emotions that come in waves or wondering why you're still finding things difficult.
I offer compassionate, non-judgemental support for people experiencing grief and bereavement, including pet bereavement.

Men's Mental Health
You don't have to be good at talking about your feelings.
Maybe you keep everything bottled up.
Maybe you've noticed you're becoming more irritable or angry.
Perhaps you're taking your frustration out on the people closest to you.
Or maybe you simply know that something isn't right but don't know how to talk about it.
Counselling can give you somewhere private and non-judgemental to make sense of what's happening.
Hi, I'm Natalie
Choosing a counsellor can feel like a big step.
You might feel nervous about talking to someone you don't know, or wonder whether counselling will actually help.
My aim is to make that first step feel as comfortable as possible.
I'm a BACP Registered Counsellor with over 11 years' counselling experience, supporting adults through anxiety, OCD, grief, health anxiety and difficult life experiences.
I'm particularly passionate about supporting men's mental health and anger, especially when emotions have been difficult to understand, express or manage.
My approach is warm, person-centred and non-judgemental. I won't judge you, tell you what you should do or expect you to have all the answers.
You can simply start with what's happening for you right now.
What counselling with me is like
There isn't a particular way you need to be before starting counselling.
You don't need to know exactly what's wrong.
You don't need to have the right words.
And you don't need to share everything straight away.
We'll work at a pace that feels manageable for you, creating a safe and confidential space where you can talk openly and begin to understand what's going on.
My approach is grounded in person-centred counselling, alongside CBT-informed and mindful cognitive approaches where these may be helpful.
The most important thing is that the counselling feels relevant to you.
